Sony Intros New A-Mount Adapter

Bowing at $250, the new LA-EA5 A-mount to E-mount adapter by enabling phase detect autofocus capabilities of modern A7 and A9 cameras to work with the older A-mount glass. This will be of particular use for some of the well-regarded super telephoto lenses Sony once made in the aging mount.

The adapter is to be made available in October.
