Canon: IBIS Generates Noise; We Can Suppress It

A patent application unearthed by Canon News shows that Canon is spending some of its vast research resources on figuring out how to undo noise generated in an image sensor by magnetic field effects of an IBIS mechanism. Interestingly, in an unusually readable application, Canon talks about increasing sensor sensitivities beginning to show more and more of these noise effects.
