Panasonic Firmware Rev Upgrades Tracking

New firmware, first noticed by L-Rumors, for the entire S line of Panasonic Lumix cameras gives tracking goodies across the board. The S1R, S1 and S1H get the head tracking ability first seen in the recent S5 release, which helps the camera keep focus on a head when it is turning.

These changes technically don’t improve the autofocus capabilities of the camera – the system’s weak point – but rather improves the camera’s capacity to tell where it should be focused.
