Canon RF 70-200 f/4 Late

CanonRumors reports that the new f/4 version of the Canon RF 70-200 appears to have been pushed back six weeks to the end of January. The “Coke can” lens, sharing a telescoping body like its f/2.8 sibling, has been eagerly awaited by RF-mount shooters seeking a small form factor in medium telephoto.

Perhaps more significantly, the MTF chart published for the lens – a measure of sharpness, among other things – shows curves seldom achieved in a lens that will retail for only $1,600.
