Nikon Will Service Manual Lenses – Until May 14 (dun dun dun!)

Nikon continues its retrenchment to create a sustainable camera company, opting now to announce the end of service for manual F-mount lenses in the middle of May.

If you have one of the F-mount oldsters, you might think about getting it serviced now, as getting the dilithium crystals replaced and the positronic processor lubricated won’t be possible come the warm weather. Inevitably, tachyons will wear away the seals unless one last baryon sweep can be made.
