Atomos To Provide ProRes RAW for Sony A1

Atomos tells NewsShooter.com that an upcoming firmware release will allow the Ninja V external recorder to pull in 4.3k 60p video from the Sony A1. The signature video feature of that camera – 8k internal recording – will not be possible to record in ProRes Raw on the Ninja, even after the upgrade.

Unknown is whether that 4.3k video is downsampled from the larger set of sensor data.
