SAR: Tipster Predicted 50 f/1.2, Thinks More Coming

Someone unknown to Sony Alpha Rumors sent in some tips a while back that went unreported, as it was a new source. Those typically don’t have great track records for accuracy. But this one had at the top of his list of lenses to come in 2021 the first lens that actually came out: the Sony 50mm f/1.2 GM.

Others on the list, which are now getting renewed attention, include a 800mm f/5.6, a refresh of the 24-70 and 70-200 f/2.8 GM lenses and an interesting 16mm f/1.8.
