Sony to Flesh Out Mid-Level 24, 40 & 50mm Primes

Nokishita reports that the next set of lenses to come from Sony will be 24mm, 40mm and 50mm prime lenses in the G range, which implies a relatively cheaper price for quality almost reaching the level of their GM line.

Tamron, a long-time lens maker for re-badged Sony lenses, has a great deal of experience with excellent f/1.8 prime lenses in this range of focal lengths and price targets. The 35mm f/1.8, as pictured above, is still one of the best values, despite its age of six years.
