Canon Finally Fills USA Imaging GM Position

Canon announced that Sammy Kobayashi will be the new general manager of the Imaging Technologies and Communications Group at Canon USA. The position was last filled by Eliott Peck, who retired more than a year ago after 45 years at the firm.

Kobayashi’s previous portfolio was marketing for the imaging division, but he’s enough of a techy person that he published a guide to bettering video call image quality back in December 2020.
