Canon Super-Wide Zooms Patented

Northlight points to some new patents showing various super-wide RF zooms. Another patent shows a collection of telephoto zooms, with one of them – interestingly – being a crop lens.

The wide lenses have an f/4 aperture and range down to as far as an 8-16mm. None of them quite match the rumored lenses on the Canon roadmaps, but such roadmaps are generally products of web site speculation and do not come from Canon itself.
