Tamron 150-500 Coming June 3 at $1,500

Nokishita reports that the new Tamron lens, seemingly geared to be a very high quality super telephoto zoom undercutting first party lens prices, will come out in six weeks on June 3 and be priced about $1,500.

The Sony 200-600mm lens, probably the best value in today’s market for quality over price ratio costs $2,000 – much to everyone’s surprise, given Sony’s typical pricing. The Canon 100-500mm RF lens costs $2,700.
