Nikon Rumors: June Event a Ho-Hummer

Don’t get too excited about the Nikon event coming up in the next few days. The new camera to be introduced appears to be an APS-C Z-mount camera. The 105mm lens is simply the overdue lens expected a few months ago.

[Update: Nikon Rumors indicates it’s even more hum-drum. No camera at all. The 50mm f/2.8 will be released, along with announcements for relatively slow 28mm and 40mm primes.]

On cue, Nokishita released leaked pictures of both of the lenses to be pushed out by Nikon. See below:

A Nikkor Z 100-400mm would have brought some attention, as that would fill one of the gaping holes in many Z shooters’ bags.
