Sony’s New Cropper Not A6700

With a different body form factor, akin more to the A7c, Sony’s new crop sensor camera to be released in a couple weeks will not be called the A6700, as has been expected, according to Sony Alpha Rumors.

The site indicates that the camera will be marketed to vloggers. The A7c, a video-centric full frame camera, may be overkill for vloggers looking to to create video formats easily handled by smaller sensors. This would make the camera more of a competitor for the coming Panasonic GH-5 II, except with modern autofocus methods.
