Sony’s upcoming replacement for the A6600 is rumored to have a denser sensor resolution and to have improved the in-body image stabilization (IBIS), according to SonyAlphaRumors. Sony’s IBIS system is now among the worst among manufacturers, not because it was terrible to start, but because there have been leaps made by the other competitors.
The camera is said to adopt the ergonomics of the A7c, with many of its other specifications, including screen and viewfinder resolution as well as the tilt screen and, as expected, the reluctantly-reformed menu system. The A7c, shown below, was also notable for its left-hand placement of the viewfinder.
