Nikon 105mm Macro Will Be Scarce

NikonRumors.com, reports that a retailer informs it that the newly-announced 105mm macro lens from Nikon will be manufactured in limited quantities relative to demand, with waits expected to extend into months, even for pre-orders.

One Factory Still Operating in Japan

Nikon has been discontinuing older lenses, temporarily suspending production of others, and manufacturing fewer of its new lenses for months now, perhaps not coincidentally after executing a factory closure and moving of production out of Japan.
