Samyang’s alter ego, Rokinon, is still offering the identical lenses, and they appear to continue to be on sale.

The story first broke on a DP Review discussion three days ago. Forum dwellers there indicated varying responses from retailers and from the firm itself; ranging from distribution hiccups to – according to a message directly from the company – that they are no longer making the lenses.

Camnostic reached out to both Samyang and Rokinon yesterday afternoon without a response at the time of this writing.
