A vanishingly small firmware upgrade popped up on Nikon servers yesterday, addressing a rare noise issue coming from the aperture mechanisms.

More usefully, a September release is slated to deliver tracking improvements. The Mark II variants of Nikon’s mirrorless cameras were disappointing upgrades, but they did put in girthier computer processors, giving expectations of further benefits coming in firmware.
