Olympus ‘Wow’ Camera Likely to Be Only ‘Oh’ Camera

OM Digital, in trying to convince the press that the division wasn’t dead or dying, promised a “wow” camera. That camera will now not be seen in 2021, and it will not be E-M1X revision, but rather a non-flagship, non-gripped body.

The MFT mount camera is to be a bit of a technology platform, with the OM Digital manager having stated that he intends the firm to concentrate not on the low-end, discount market below the full frame competition, but focusing on things the micro four thirds sensor can do that the larger cousins cannot. This has been interpreted by the forum communities as concentrating on speed.
