Pentax K Mount Roadmap Adds… Nothing

Pentax updated (sort of) its lens roadmap, rendering some of the upcoming lenses “current” and monkeying with timelines.

There isn’t much to look forward to. A 21mm “limited” edition lens is expected in the near-term, but the only other lens suggested for the future is a “telephoto zoom” lens palced further into the future.

The focal length range of that lens is suggested to be around 70-200, so their skimming the low-end of telephoto. The system currently has an f/4 70-210. This is very likely the f2.8 version.
