SonyAlphaRumors indicated that the perennially-rumored A7IV will come out with the form factor and many physical attributes of the A7S III video body, presumably with a significant resolution boost. The poor versions of Sony’s earlier in-body stabilization system and user interface will be replaced, as expected, and the heat management systems for the A7S III will be employed, although that may seem to be overkill for a stills-focused camera.
The camera will reportedly sport CFexpress Type A card slots, allowing for backward-compatibility with SD cards – again, as expected. One goody perhaps unexpected: it should have a full-sized HDMI port.
