Atomos Ninja V+ Price Issue Fixed

Atomos’s Ninja V external recorder has been the savior for Canon R5 video shooters, fixing the overheating issues for all but the 8k video format. The new Ninja V+ provides an even more comprehensive solution, but was incomprehensibly priced at about 250 percent the cost of the original recorder. Now that is largely fixed, with a deal through the end of the year selling V+ units for less than $1,000, only about half as much more than a Ninja V price.

The new Ninja V+ has much more processing capacity, and is likely to see additional functionality added in firmware regarding new flagship camera releases, such as the Sony A1, Nikon Z9 and Canon EOS R3.
