Canon published its R3 manual this evening (via Canon News).

Looking for surprises? May we recommend the “Using Eye Control” section. Interesting stuff.

But it wouldn’t be a Canon rig without the connectivity that can only come from OEM software designed by a Japanese camera maker. To get pictures moving over to a computer: 18 steps. To a phone: 14 steps. But perhaps those steps will finally work upon reconnection this time.
