New, Cheaper MFT Bodies on Way

43Rumors reports that three or four new Micro Four Thirds (MFT) bodies are to be announced in 2022, probably cheaper models than the flagship GH6 from Panasonic and OM System’s equivalent OM-1.

After going for a longest period of time yet between flagship releases, both major MFT competitors put out their top-of-the-line cameras just weeks ago.

Where Panasonic had also recently released some mid-range GH5 variants, OM System (formerly Olympus) is just beginning to flesh out its body portfolio under the new brand name.
