Canon Financials: Imaging Biz Gangbusters

Canon showed an 18 percent improvement in imaging revenues, based in good part on an “improved mix” of mirrorless sales that led to higher average prices. This was mitigated by supply chain issues, particularly with semiconductors, which limited what would otherwise have been higher sales.

The firm forecasts continued recovery in sales, and – likely, but not certain – improvement in supply chain limitations.
