CanonRumors.com indicates it has “been told” that Canon is still planning to at least announce a couple cameras that it the site has been indicating would be coming for the past four months: the C50 and the C200 II. Another that it previously believed in has fallen by the wayside, at least for now: the C90. Just what the C50 and the C90 are is really anyone’s guess.

Instead of a C50 or a C90, Canon came out with a C70, which perhaps is just an average of the two.

What some cinema shooters really want (that they don’t already have) is an RF-mount 8K shooter that won’t overheat. CanonRumors indicates the second half of 2021 might be a more likely time for that.
