Rumors have been stacking up that Panasonic may combine its much-loathed DFD autofocus system with a phase detect-type system to prevent autofocus wibbles and wobbles. But they’re just rumors.

It was just three months ago that Panasonic’s camera division head poured cold water on that very idea.
