Olympus “Wow” Camera Rumored to Have Global Shutter

It is true that OM Digital’s chief has indicated that they plan on focusing on technologies that their tiny Micro Four Thirds sensors can better exploit. It is also true that rumors from inside sources previously indicated the “Wow” camera was going to be more of an “Oh” camera. Still, 43Rumors.com indicates it received an uncorroborated report that the camera will have a global shutter.

The camera is rumored to be announced late this year and to be launched early next year. The form factor is reportedly to be closer to the E-M1 III, rather than the large-to-be-large E-M1X.
